Outdoor Explore

Located in Blairgowrie to the north-west of Dundee, Outdoor Explore offers young and old alike a chance to get back to nature and savour all that the great outdoors has to offer.

Founder Piotr Gudan has over 17 years of experience working in the outdoors and shares his passion and enthusiasm for paddle sports, mountains, and wildlife with hundreds of customers every year. Piotr’s main passion is taking people to lesser-known parts of Scotland and sharing stunning scenery, stories, tales and legends.

A born leader and teacher, Piotr was driven to start Outdoor Explore due to the lack of available opportunities for people to get into outdoor sports. Piotr is also a Retained Firefighter for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and volunteers his free time to local charities, community groups, and DofE expeditions.

Over the years Piotr has met many great teachers, interesting guides, inspiring leaders, and highly qualified instructors along the way. They share a similar passion and enthusiasm for the outdoors as Piotr, and many have come on board to help us provide unforgettable experiences.
