Scottish golf courses are known to be some of the finest worldwide. Whether it’s a quick round or a week’s golf holiday we are sure you will be impressed by our outstanding 9 hole course and facilities here at Forbes of Kingennie
Kingennie golf course was designed by renowned Scottish golf course architect Graeme Webster. The nature of the risk and reward course design means it provides a challenge for both the beginner and the more accomplished golfer. Although our course may not be one of the longest you may have played the challenge comes from the risk factor and whether you are prepared to take these on. Our course features U.S.G.A specification greens, an extensive drainage system and also an irrigation system in the greens and tees.
Forbes of Kingennie golf course opened in August 2007 and has matured greatly in the following years. The golf course surrounds the resort, fishing ponds and lodges and provides beautiful panoramic views over the Tay estuary towards Fife.
The facilities which support the course include a driving range with two covered bays and an incorporated practice bunker area. There is also our U.S.G.A specification 18 hole “Cairngorms” putting green which is truly unique, fun and a test for anyone, it is modelled on the famous Scottish mountain range and includes 2 water hazards!
You will find all of the facilities are finished to a high standard and we take great pride in delivering these to you.
Kingennie Court North and South are luxury sister lodges, located at the top of the resort with prime view on to the first hole of the golf course and looking over to the mouth of the River Tay. Each lodge sleeps up to ten people with five twin ensuite rooms and an open plan kitchen and living area, complete with a wood burning stove, flat screen TV and outside veranda. For golf excursions, we encourage you to book a night in Kingennie Court, as it has the ultimate facilities to fit all guests needs.
