If you’re after something wholesome, lively and very Easter-weekend-friendly, Camperdown Wildlife Centre looks like a cracking shout.

Visitors are being invited along for a full day of animal feeds, keeper talks and family activities this Easter Sunday, with plenty going on from morning through to mid-afternoon.

The day’s line-up includes the chance to hear more about some of the attraction’s best-loved residents during a series of feeding sessions and Q&As, with gibbons, bears, tamarins and macaques all featuring across the schedule. There will also be talks on hyacinth macaws and meerkats, plus free feeding sessions with the ever-popular pygmy goats and warty pigs while food lasts.

So aye, if your ideal family day out includes cute animals, a bit of chaos and the chance to hand-feed a goat, you’re in luck.

Alongside the animal encounters, there will also be activity workbooks, an egg trail scavenger hunt with certificates to collect, and even a special visit from the Easter Bunny to keep the younger crowd entertained.

The attraction is open from 10am to 4.30pm, with Easter Sunday’s animal timetable running throughout the day.
