The University’s Zoology Museum houses many fascinating specimens from around the world. Most of them were collected by the celebrated Sir D’Arcy Thompson, the first Professor of Biology at Dundee.
The museum is in the Carnelley Building, just behind the main University Tower Building on Park Place.
Now open monthly on the second Saturday of every month, 2-4.30pm and every Friday afternoon in June-August, 2-4.30pm. You can also arrange a private visit by contacting them directly.
Make sure you also visit the Tower and Lamb galleries if you’re visiting the University.
