Embark on a journey with Ruth, beginning at the historic well near Moubray House/John Knox House. She will guide you along the Canongate, a district independent from Edinburgh until the 19th century, as you delve into the lower section of the Royal Mile. Discover the stories of the women who once lived and worked in this area, concluding the tour at Holyrood Palace. The experience lasts for 1.5 hours (90 minutes) and takes place entirely outdoors without any cover, so dress appropriately for the weather. Note that there are no restroom breaks or seating available during the tour.

Please arrive at the old well outside the John Knox House/Moubray House clothing store 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
