The Most Perilous Comedie of Elizabeth I at Gallery House

The Elizabethan stage is thriving with excitement. Yet, will a fresh Tudor musical extravaganza, featuring Good Queen Bess herself stepping into the spotlight, prove to be her crowning achievement or the start of her decline? Prepare for a spectacle filled with treacherous rivalries, cunning theatrics, and scheming writers. Hindered by miscommunications and a script that…well, could use some polishing, this show is set to be mostly historical and endlessly hilarious.

As the classic phrase puts it…thy performance must carry on!

????? – “Incredibly amusing…had me in stitches”
????? – “A rollicking good time. Thoroughly delightful”
????? – “The quintessential British stage experience” – Hastings Independent Press
????? – “A blast for all ages…my children can’t stop raving about it!”

Mark your calendars for Thursday, 3rd July, and join us at Gallery House. Don’t forget to bring your own cushions or camping chairs for our 10th anniversary open-air celebration. Be ready for any weather conditions, as the show will go on, rain or shine!

This event takes place outdoors, so we suggest bringing blankets, chairs, or cushions for comfort. Dress appropriately with warm clothing and waterproof gear, as the performance will proceed regardless of the weather. Please refrain from bringing umbrellas, as they may block the view for others. Gates open at 6pm, with the show starting at 7pm. The performance will run for about 100 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission.

Feel free to bring picnics to enjoy at the venue.

We advise purchasing tickets online ahead of time. For additional details about the event, please contact [email protected].
