Singing workshop with Chandra Mather

VOCAL WORKSHOP LED BY CHANDRA MATHER
Chandra, a talented vocalist, Natural Voice practitioner, and seasoned leader of community choirs, brings her extensive experience as a workshop host and her love for exploring the world to this engaging session. Come along for a friendly and inviting workshop where you’ll be introduced to a variety of songs Chandra has gathered from traditional musicians across the globe. The repertoire includes everything from a West African harvest chant to a classic Maori Waiata.

During this 90-minute class, Chandra will guide you using the time-honored oral tradition of learning ‘by ear.’ This workshop is open to everyone, encouraging active participation, and no prior singing experience or ability to read sheet music is required.
