Pride ZineMaking Workshop
Come along to the Proud All Year Round Market with Coin-Operated Press and craft your own unique mini-zine celebrating pride in all its forms! We’ll supply everything you need to create your zine, though you’re welcome to bring personal collage items to give your creation a special flair. This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of skill level, and we’ll guide you through the process of folding your mini-zine. If inspiration doesn’t strike right away, don’t worry—we’ll have plenty of creative prompts to help spark ideas on the day!
Spaces are limited, so please sign up here. Entry is by donation, with the following suggested amounts:
– £3-£5 helps us offset the costs of materials and preparation.
– £7-£10 ensures all workshop expenses are covered.
– £10 or more is incredibly helpful if you can contribute, as it supports our ongoing zine-outreach initiatives and the publication of works by underrepresented creators.
We’d also be thrilled to accept donations of any unused art or craft supplies for our workshops, as well as old magazines or paper collage materials you’d like to keep out of the recycling bin!
This event is hosted as part of the Makers and Bakers Proud All Year Round Market and will take place at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall. For additional details about the market, check out the MnB Instagram page at: https://www.instagram.com/mnbscotland/
