Reservations will be accepted until 12:00 PM on Friday, 18th April 2025. Please note that due to constrained resources, we CANNOT ACCOMMODATE BOOKINGS submitted after this deadline. This program will take place over four consecutive Tuesday evenings, starting on 22nd April and concluding on 13th May. The following week, participants will gather on Saturday, 24th May, from 10:00 to 12:00 for an outdoor session. Information regarding the final meeting on 24th May will be provided in advance.

The course will begin with the fundamentals of camera use before progressing to more sophisticated techniques. Initially, we will cover the purpose of each button, along with composition, focus, and exposure. Later, participants will learn to manipulate aperture and shutter speed to create personalized images. The curriculum will also explore various photography styles, including landscape, portrait, street, monochrome, low-light, and other genres based on class interest. Additionally, we will delve into different editing methods and software, all within an enjoyable and laid-back setting.

Instructor: Arran Sulley
Arran has been passionate about photography for over four decades and has served as an adult educator for the past eight years. His teaching motto is straightforward: “If you’re not having fun, you’re not learning.” He strives to simplify complex concepts while fostering a lighthearted atmosphere. Arran finds great joy in witnessing students acquire new abilities, particularly during those enlightening “aha” moments.
