Lemon Grove Bookclub April

Greetings from the Lemon Grove Bookclub! We invite you to a delightful night filled with engaging conversations, beverages, nibbles, and the chance to meet fellow book enthusiasts at Backstage Barbershop, located in the heart of Edinburgh. Our gatherings are casual and relaxed. We’ll throw out a few questions or topics to spark dialogue, and then let the discussion flow naturally. Whether you attend solo or with a companion, adored or disliked the book, feel comfortable speaking up or prefer to just listen, you’re in good company. There’s no judgment or expectations here—everyone is welcome!

At Lemon Grove, we focus on women’s fiction, and our selected read for March is *Bad Publicity* by Bianca Gillam. The story follows Andie, who secures her ideal position as a senior book publicist, eager to conquer the New York publishing scene. However, her excitement is short-lived when she learns her primary author is Jack Carlson—the very person who shattered her world during her university days. It’s been five years since they last spoke, and Jack remains as maddeningly attractive and successful as ever. Andie knows she can’t afford to botch his campaign if she hopes to keep her job.

To complicate things further, Andie must spend a month traveling through Europe with the man she’d rather run over than work with—if she’s completely honest.
