Granny Squares for Beginners

Are you new to crochet and eager to start? This is the perfect craft workshop for you! Dive into one of the classic essentials of crochet and gain a wealth of skills while creating your very own granny square. By mastering simple crochet techniques, you’ll craft one of the most beloved crochet designs out there. Granny squares are incredibly straightforward to create and amazingly adaptable. Stitch a few together, and you can transform them into anything from cozy blankets to stylish cardigans, playful toys, pillow covers, and beyond.

The greatest thing? No prior crochet knowledge is required! Join this welcoming session as a total novice, grab a crochet hook, and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of yarn. If you already have some crochet know-how, you’re invited to participate as well. All necessary supplies are provided, though feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer (you’ll need DK yarn in 2 or 3 shades and a 4mm hook).

In this textile workshop, you’ll explore the basics of crochet patterns and stitches. As you progress, you’ll discover the soothing, meditative effects of crochet, boost your self-assurance, and perhaps uncover a new passion.

This event is hosted at Santosa, and your ticket includes a refreshing drink and a slice of cake. We look forward to seeing you there!
