Front Tier Comedy PERTH Friday April 25th stand up with Ryan Cullen

Perth’s top comedy evening is back with a hilarious lineup on Friday, April 25th, featuring the sensational headliner Ryan Cullen, who has supported acts like Daniel Sloss and Theo Von on tour. In a remarkably short time, Ryan Cullen has emerged as one of the most buzzed-about comedians across Ireland and the UK. Known for his edgy humor and dark, sharp one-liners, Ryan recently placed second in the Irish Comedian of the Year competition. His talent has landed him spots on shows like BBC Scotland’s ‘The Comedy Underground’, BBC NI’s ‘Late Licence’, as well as appearances on RTE and MTV!

A regular at major festivals, Ryan has performed at events such as Altitude Comedy Fest, Vodafone Comedy Carnivals, Electric Picnic, Longitude, Forbidden Fruit, Indiependence, and Snowbombing. Beyond live stages, he’s a prominent figure on the Facts YouTube Channel, which has amassed over 400 million views and 1.3 million subscribers, as well as the Try Channel with 500,000 subscribers. Having headlined at renowned venues like the Laughter Lounge, The Stand, The International Comedy Club, The Comedy Cellar, and The Belfast Empire, among others, Ryan Cullen is on track to challenge the biggest names in comedy!

Kicking off the night is Matt Black, the 2024 Aberdeen Fringe Festival Comedian of the Year. Fresh from an opening performance at the Tivoli Theatre in Aberdeen for Wray Thomson in front of a 500-strong crowd, Matt, hailing from the Highlands, began his comedy journey in 2022 with a virtual gig on Zoom. Since then, his career has soared, bringing his witty takes on fatherhood and pets to the Scottish comedy scene, including a stint at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The lineup also showcases emerging talent, including BBC Comedy Awards regional finalist Lauren Steven and Highland comedian Tom Cairns. The evening will be skillfully hosted by our resident MC, Mike Herd.
