French Conversation

Reservations will end on Monday, 26th May 2025, at midday. Due to constrained resources, we regret that we CANNOT ACCOMMODATE BOOKINGS submitted after this deadline. Embark on an exploration of the Francophone realm with this brief five-week program. French, a language spoken on five continents and one of the six official languages of the United Nations, also serves as a bridge to the world just across the English Channel, a mere 22 miles at its nearest point. France is frequently celebrated as the most stunning nation globally, and for good cause. Nearly every region boasts distinct traits that captivate those who visit.

This course caters to novices as well as individuals seeking to enhance their foundational understanding or refresh their current abilities. Our emphasis will be on communication, particularly on speaking and listening skills, in scenarios you might face while traveling in France or engaging in online conversations. Additionally, we’ll start to unravel the mechanics of the language, equipping us with the essentials to express ourselves more independently. Dedicating time to review the material covered each week is highly beneficial in solidifying your learning.

Learning a language is akin to discovering a new universe, a thrilling, immersive, and demanding linguistic adventure that extends beyond familiar physical and cultural boundaries. We’ll also take moments to explore various French regions and delve into the traditions that render our neighbors so intriguingly unique.
