Fife College Acting Performance presents BLACKOUT by Davey Anderson
Blackout recounts the real-life journey of a 15-year-old boy entangled in a violent act, as he struggles to reconstruct the circumstances that led to his confinement in a secure care facility, with the looming risk of remaining there. This brief drama was developed through the National Theatre’s New Connections initiative, which focuses on creating works by and for young audiences, and it received high praise when staged at the Royal National Theatre. It’s a powerful narrative about enduring bullying, retaliating, making a grave mistake, losing it all, and ultimately rediscovering your path.
