Felted Baskets with Trish OMeara

We’re excited to have Trish O’Meara from Wormit Woolies return for another engaging workshop on crafting felted baskets. Come along for an energetic and enjoyable afternoon with Trish, where you’ll master the traditional technique of wet felting to produce a stunning 3D piece. Wet felting entails arranging wool fibres and manipulating them with warm, soapy water to bind them into a cohesive fabric. You’ll elevate your skills by delving into 3D felting, employing a plastic resist to shape a unique vessel or basket. All necessary supplies will be provided, along with a variety of driftwood pieces to craft a handle.
