Eggstra Special Pygmy Goat Playtime The Buffalo Farm
This year, our Pygmy Goat Playtime is extra special, and we’re not just cracking a joke! ?? You’ll get the chance to interact and play with our entire flock of pygmy goats. We’ll supply a small portion of ivy, their favorite snack, for you to feed them. Please note, NO OUTSIDE GOAT FOOD IS PERMITTED IN THE ENCLOSURE.
Here’s the exciting Easter surprise! In addition to the goat playtime, you’ll also enjoy:
– Meeting our adorable mini Easter bunnies
– Greeting our sweet Easter lambs
– Saying hi to our young buffalo calves
– Getting acquainted with our hen and her tiny chicks
We’ve also planned an Easter egg hunt, a fun scavenger hunt, and an egg decorating contest for added excitement. Tickets are priced at £10 plus the Eventbrite booking fee, and each ticket admits a group of up to 5 individuals.
We know everyone is eager for Goat Cuddles this season. While Mother Nature works at her own pace, all attendees of this event will receive an exclusive 24-hour heads-up before we announce the arrival of our baby goats to the public. Upon arrival, your child/children will receive a basket and a scavenger hunt sheet. We recommend starting with the playtime session, then moving on to search for eggs and solve the word puzzle.
After collecting all the letters for the word and finding some eggs, head back to the check-in desk. You’ll be allowed to keep one egg to decorate at our crafting station. Once your egg is beautifully designed, visit our Farm Shop to submit your creation into the Eggs-traordinary Art Contest for a chance to win a fantastic Easter basket! We’ll select two winners: one randomly and one based on the most impressive design.
Please ensure that all children are supervised by an adult at all times, as their safety and care are the responsibility of the accompanying adult. Since you’ll be interacting with animals, handwashing is crucial, especially before eating. Handwashing facilities are provided on-site.
Be prepared for the weather! It’s April in Scotland, so dress warmly if it’s chilly, bring waterproof jackets, and wear practical footwear—wellies are recommended. However, if the sun decides to shine, don’t forget your sunscreen!
Please note, this is a ticketed event.
