St Giles Cathedral is delighted to present the debut of the Edinburgh Royal Mile International Piano Series, a captivating and esteemed new concert initiative. Throughout 2024, this series will showcase all 32 of Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas, brought to life by outstanding performances from top pianists from the UK and around the world. These concerts offer a unique chance to immerse yourself in some of the finest piano masterpieces, thoughtfully selected by our distinguished guest artists. Held in the breathtaking, candlelit setting of St Giles Cathedral, which now boasts a newly acquired Steinway Grand Piano, this promises to be an unforgettable musical journey. Located at the center of the Royal Mile, St Giles is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants, making it easy to round off your evening in style.

**About Sherri Lun**
Born in 2003, Sherri Lun began her piano journey at the tender age of 4. By the age of 7, she had joined the Junior Music Program at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, studying both piano and viola under the guidance of Ms. Hui Ling (piano) and Ms. Cass Ho (viola). After completing her education at Diocesan Girls’ School, Sherri pursued further studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London under Prof. Christopher Elton, supported by a full-tuition scholarship from the Academy and the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme.
Recently named a 2025/26 Kirckman Artist, Sherri also benefits from the generous support of the Keyboard Charitable Trust, KNS Classical, Lieven Piano Foundation, and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation. Since her concerto debut at the age of 10 at the Ravinia Festival with the Midwest Young Artists, she has graced renowned stages such as Wigmore Hall in London, Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, and Millennium Park in Chicago. Her performances have taken her across the globe, including the UK, US, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Malaysia, and China. Sherri has collaborated with notable ensembles like the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Hong Kong Youth Orchestra, and Kölner Kammer
