Adult and Child Crochet Workshop Stage 2
This engaging workshop offers a fantastic opportunity for children with a foundational understanding of crochet to build their confidence and learn new techniques. During the session, participants will explore amigurumi, the Japanese art of crocheting stuffed toys, by crafting an adorable mini bee! This class is designed for those who already have some crochet experience. If you’re a complete beginner, no problem! Each ticket secures a spot for one adult and one child to crochet together, with the option to include a second child (limited to 2 children per adult). As a team, you’ll dive into amigurumi—the craft of creating crocheted toys—and encourage each other to keep up with crochet projects at home.
In this session, we’ll cover essential amigurumi methods, which are invaluable as they form the basis of all amigurumi designs. Using soft, cuddly yarn, you’ll create a charming, plush bumblebee! All necessary supplies are included, and you’ll get to take your crochet hook and yarn home for future projects. The workshop will be held in the Music Room at Out Of The Blue Drill Hall.
This class is ideal for children aged 8 and up who have some prior crochet experience. Please note that this is a paid event.
