42 An Evening with Kevin Jon Davies
Under the banner of the Dunfermline Media City project, the Dunfermline Regeneration Trust, in collaboration with Sci-Fife, is thrilled to host a unique event in Scotland featuring author and director Kevin Jon Davies. This exclusive appearance is likely to be his only public speaking and book-signing session beyond Islington!
Having spent a lifetime as an enthusiast, admirer, and personal friend of Douglas Adams, Kevin offers unparalleled perspectives into the creative genius behind the Guide. He has compiled a collection of rare, previously unseen writings, personal anecdotes, tributes, and strikingly forward-thinking concepts about technology’s future, crafting the definitive resource on life, the universe, and all things related to Adams.
Attendees will also have the chance to view an exhibition of artwork, film stills, and props, including the authentic Hitchhiker’s Guide, emblazoned with the reassuring phrase ‘Don’t Panic!’ in bold, welcoming text on its cover. A limited number of books will be available for purchase and autographing during the event.
Kevin’s talents extend to directing and animation, with notable works including Doctor Who: More Than 30 Years In The TARDIS, Blakes 7, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Gerry Anderson’s Terrahawks.
Please note that this is a ticketed event.
