1day Sewing Upcycling and Repair workshop
**1-Day Workshop on Sewing, Upcycling, and Clothing Repairs**
Got a stack of clothes that don’t fit right, need mending, or could use a fresh style? Come join us at SWI for a fun and laid-back full-day session where we’ll breathe new life into your wardrobe by upcycling, adjusting, and fixing your personal clothing items! Whether it’s mending a tear, resizing a skirt, turning a dress into a blouse, or hiding a blemish, Jen will guide you through the techniques to revive your favorite pieces.
In this workshop, you’ll pick up fundamental sewing skills and handy tricks to boost your confidence in revamping old garments into something fresh and exciting. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, allowing you to not only work on your own projects but also learn from the creative ideas and approaches of fellow participants.
Please come prepared with around 3-5 clothing items to focus on during the day.
**Suggestions for What to Bring:**
Feel free to bring any pieces that need some care to restore their charm or a transformation to make them wearable again! Examples include:
