If you’ve ever quoted Still Game in the wild (or you’ve got a mate who does it nonstop), this is one of those nights you’ll want in the diary.
On Friday 27 March 2026, the Whitehall Theatre is hosting The Big Accumulator: Our Ultimate Still Game Wager a special live event that brings a chunk of the cast back together for a night of stories, laughs, and a bit of chaos… all in support of Montrose FC’s youth academy.
Who’s appearing?
Taking to the stage are:
- Mark Cox (Tam)
- Jane McCarry (Isa)
- Gavin Mitchell (Boaby)
- Sanjeev Kohli (Navid)
- Matt Costello (Stevie)
And also joining the line-up is Arbroath actor John Buick, who played Old Joe.

What’s the show like?
The night is inspired by classic episodes Cairds and Balls Up, so expect plenty of that familiar Still Game energy plus behind-the-scenes stories from filming, cast banter, and a few surprises.
There’s also a football twist: the cast will chat about Scotland’s chances at this summer’s World Cup, and there will be on-stage challenges with audience members able to win cash and exclusive prizes. (Aye, you might end up involved so don’t sit too close if you hate attention.)
Why it matters (and why it’s happening)
All profits from the show go towards helping Montrose FC run their youth academy. The club is concerned it could lose a £12,000 annual funding stream if Scottish FA academy grant payments end and without that, they may have to raise around £50,000 a year independently to keep their advanced youth setup going. The fundraiser is part of bridging that gap and protecting the pathway for young players.
