Overview
Discovery Point is one of Dundee’s most important and visually striking visitor attractions, located on the city’s redeveloped waterfront beside the V&A Dundee. The RRS Discovery. A Ship Built for History
Launched in 1901 in Dundee, the RRS Discovery was purpose-built for polar exploration. Designed to withstand the extreme conditions of the Antarctic, the ship became the centrepiece of one of the most famous expeditions in British history.
